Yuto and Ethereum (ETH)

A Complex Seed, and Yuto's Lesson

Lately, crypto assets have become a highly discussed financial product—or "seed."

Having looked into Bitcoin, Yuto soon found himself
frequently noticing another name cropping up everywhere:
"Ethereum."

One evening.

While scanning through an article on his smartphone,
Yuto spoke aloud to Hikappa.

Hikappa tilted its head to the side inquisitively.

Yuto decided to do some digging.

As he searched, he learned that the creator of Ethereum
is a person named Vitalik Buterin.

Yuto felt a small wave of surprise.

He continued reading further.

Unlike Bitcoin, Ethereum apparently has no hard cap on its total lifetime supply.

Furthermore, when it came to its core features,
the article was packed with heavily technical terminology.

・Smart Contracts
・Infrastructure for Decentralized Applications (dApps)
・NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens)
・DeFi (Decentralized Finance)

Yuto's brow gradually furrowed as his eyes traveled down the text.

Reading on, he discovered that by holding Ethereum,
one could sometimes earn what is known as
"Staking Rewards."

Hikappa looked equally perplexed, wearing a puzzled expression.

Yuto nodded his head slowly in agreement.

"Yeah."

Hikappa pulsed with a tiny, gentle light, looking visibly reassured.

Yuto brought up his usual recurring investment dashboard.

Instead of diving blindly into a trend out of sheer impatience, choose to understand first, then make an informed judgment.

That disciplined approach was,
bit by bit, beginning to form deep, sturdy roots inside of Yuto.
